Hera Registered Name: Schmidt’s Chocollate at Heart Acres Hera was named after Zeus’ wife and the mother of the Greek gods in ancient mythology. Her sire was ranked the #5 boxer in 2002 and a BISS winner, her dam was ranked #18 in 2003. We were lucky enough to purchase this puppy from Jim and Priscilla Kilman of Heart Acres boxers and Julie Schmidt of Schmidt boxers. She had such a fiery little attitude, Hera had no problem taking on our two older and much larger boxers. Sadly Hera passed away suddenly on July 2nd, 2010. She played to the very end and will be deeply missed. She was an important member of our small family and can not be replaced. RIP our dear sweet Hera.
